Nurturing a Sustainable Future
Umah Pupa started from our concern about the waste problem around us. With the abundance of waste people generate everyday, what can we do to reduce them?
Then we found out about this little creature called Black Soldier Fly larvae that could eat organic matters with an impressive time spend, and there is so much benefit that we can get from the BSF life cycle. In order to know more about their life cycle and their impact, we decided to start this in our small lab in our own backyard.
Then in 2023, we took a leap. We move to Bali, and start the farm altogether.

Organic Waste Pick-Up Service
Pick-up service available for home or business. We can transport your organic waste by providing 1-5 trash bins. We will pick up if the bucket is full or according to the trash pick-up schedule. This organic waste will become a food source for our BSF Larvae

Join us for a special day at the farm! Meet our amazing farmers, explore the property, and get a sneak peek of the Black Soldier Flies’ life cycle.
We'll take you on a behind-the-scenes look at how we manage our food waste, raise our animals.
BSF Waste Management Education
Visiting Umah Pupa Farm could be a playful and educational destination for the kids. Plan a unique on-farm experience for your kids for an hour or two, a morning, an afternoon or a whole day. We are open for school outings too!
